Microsoft Stopping Support for Windows 7

If you are using Windows 7, it may be time to consider an upgrade. Starting January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7. This means no more updates or security fixes for the operating system.

Windows 7 was released in 2009 and is still one of the most widely used desktop operating systems. Windows 10 took over the desktop market by the end of last year, but reports show that 36.9% of businesses still use Windows 7.

Changes and upgrades in technology are inevitable. Many of us upgrade our phones every two years. The same concepts should apply when it comes to your business. Using outdated equipment will put businesses at risk for security threats, will increase service costs, and will frustrate users.

There has never been a better time to start putting in motion the tasks needed to shift your organization to Windows 10 and Office 365. Abacus Technologies can help your company make the transition no matter if  you are transitioning one machine or 1,000+ machines.
